While there are no guarantees of how much you can win, there are often large prizes for those who are able to solve all the clues the fastest. Prize amounts are stated in advance of registration beginning in the Hunt Details for each hunt.

Treasure hunts consist of clues of varying levels of difficulty (i.e. Easy, Moderate, Difficult, and Very Difficult). While easy clues can usually be solved without a hint, difficult and very difficult clues are designed to be challenging, and may require one or more hints to be solved.

Hints are purchased using Gold Coin tokens that can be purchased in lots of 10 for $10. This means the cost of a hint is generally $1.00.  However, you receive a volume discount by purchasing lots of 20, 50, or 100 Gold Coins at a time, reducing the cost of Hints to less than $1.00. Your Gold Coin tokens are kept in a digital wallet, or "Coin Purse", and can be used in any Hunt you participate in.

We recommend that you purchase at least 10-20 Gold Coins before the start of a treasure hunt. This will ensure that you don't have to waste time during the hunt to buy coins. Unused Gold Coins will remain in your Coin Purse for future hunts.

No. All Gold Coin purchases are final and non-refundable. However, any coins not used during a treasure hunt, are maintained in your Coin Purse and can be used in a future hunt.
